"OUR EMERGING STORY:  THE PROMISE AND THE HOPE" - A day of reflection with Sharon Zayak

Saturday July 14 2018.  10am to 4pm.

We are in the midst of a cosmic shift in understanding who we are as persons, as people of faith, as a human species.
What is this newly emerging consciousness?  What does it teach us about who we are, how we are related to the whole and how we talk about God?
Using the Cosmic Story as a context, Sharon will help us to explore and reflect upon its deeper meaning and in doing so, help us to find inspiration and hope.

Bridging the Gap:  Movement, Meditation and Mindfulness for Daily Life

Facilitated by:  Barbara Collins and Sandra Reeve

This 5 day workshop introduces movement as 'mindfulness in motion', as a meditaiton practice in itself, and to explore the thresholds and transitions between sitting meditation, walking meditation, free-form movement practice and simple everyday activities.
How can we cultivate emboidied presence with our eyes closed and our eyes open, in action and in stillness?
We move between indoor and outdoor sessions, between time alone and time together, between nature and town, between quietness, stillness and movement as we explore how to integrate the source of meditation into our daily lives and into the busy stream of activities that fill our days.
No experience of movement or meditation required.
